Long Time No Sex

An Jae-hong and Lee Som portray a sexless couple with an audacious business model. The recently released teaser was impressively crafted, hinting at an upcoming worthwhile adult comedy drama series.

The title LTNS stands for “Long Time No Sex,” and it will be retained for the overseas version’s title. Even in the 21st century, South Korea’s conservatism makes incorporating the word “sex” in a show title somewhat awkward.

LTNS is scheduled for release on Tving on January 19, 2024, as a 6-episode series.

Synopsis of “Long Time No Sex”

Samuel and Woojin, a couple whose relationship has dulled after the excitement of their honeymoon, find themselves in a stagnant phase. Casting of “Long Time No Sex”

An Jae-hong as Samuel

Samuel maintains a composed exterior but holds inner turmoil and anger. Despite graduating from a prestigious university and effortlessly landing a job at a major corporation, he eventually departed from the company due to personal struggles, choosing to become a taxi driver.

Even to this day, the character Kim Jung-bong from “Reply 1988” remains more familiar than the actor himself. The impact of the breakthrough series “Reply 1988” was incredibly substantial. Since then, Ahn Jae-hong has been actively involved in both movies and TV/OTT series, solidifying his position in the industry. His recent standout performance as Joo Oh-nam in the Netflix drama “Mask Girl” drew significant praise.

Yet, when Ahn Jae-hong comes to mind, his comedic persona is still prevalent. We’re eagerly anticipating his return to comedic acting in “LTNS.”

Lee Som as Woojin

Seeming goal-oriented and aggressive, yet underneath, a fragile and sensitive individual. Employed at a three-star hotel’s front desk, she is presented with an irresistible offer, leading her to opt for a less than ideal lifestyle.

Despite her towering height well over 170cm and slender figure, she’s predominantly recognized for her modeling career rather than acting, despite over a decade of experience in the field. Accumulating a steady array of roles in her filmography over the years, there’s anticipation surrounding whether the upcoming “LTNS” will mark another pivotal moment in her career.

Production crew of “Long Time No Sex”

Jeon Go-un and Lim Dae-hyeong joined forces as co-writers and co-directors for this project. “LTNS” signifies Director Lim Dae-hyeong’s debut in the realm of TV/OTT shows.
